With the Fantasy Draft over and the tournament approaching the League schedules for Madden and Fifa have both been released over on the MTIX webpage. Check it out here.
The fantasy draft is coming up next Saturday are you ready? With all the teams selected we're preparing for an incredible draft. Who do you think will go first?
The new Hall-of-Famers are confirmed. They will be announced soon.
The teams will be chosen shortly. Then the way the draft works will be given once the guest list is confirmed.
MTIX Fantasy Draft will take place at Vice Commissioner Morrison's house on May 7th.
MTIX will no longer take place at the Holiday Inn. It will take place at Commissioner Ball's house for free. Donations are appreciated. This Madden Tournament is being downsized.

MTO is back up and running. We are starting off the Announcement that MTIX will have a Fantasy Draft consisting of 15 rounds. This will be done live via UStream on May 7th, 2011. The MTO Council and two former council members will be hosting the draft live. We will allow picks to be phoned and texted in. We will have 4-6 lines of communication open. The draft will not consist of creating a new team. For new Fantasy draft rules refer to the new Fantasy Draft webpage here.

MTVIII has been moved up 2 hours to 12PM due to players limited availability. People can start coming at 10AM tho.
Three players have dropped out of MTVIII at the last minute and their spots have been filled. The brackets and Madden League schedule have been updated accordingly.
The new official MTO symbol has been released.
Fifa has been selected as the final game to be added to MTVIII.
November 3rd is when we will be picking our teams for MTVIII.
Bobby Atkins has been hired as the new Director of Public Relations.
Newly promoted Director of Public Relations Nathan Billman has been let go due to his inability to fulfill his contractual obligations. Commissioner Ball says on the matter "It was disappointing to have to terminate Nathan after his short stint of nearly 2 months as Director of Public Relations. At a time in which many call the off-season of MTO. However, the feeling was mutual as to letting him go. Nathan has been very busy lately and has had constant conflicting schedules that have prevented him from helping out MTO. We do have a favorite front-runner right now to take his spot and am confident this new recruit will bring us well into the future of MTO." Commissioner Ball is expected to address the matter on the MTO Show that will be taping this Sunday night into Monday. He has said that he is considering doing a live press conference to address the matter on Sunday night.
Deadline for voting on the Fifa and MLB games is October 9th, 2010 at 12:00 Midnight.
We are asking that all MTVIII participants bring drinks and snacks to share.
At our Madden Tournaments we have prided ourselves in the classic Mac & Cheese. This year we're stepping up our game in the food department. In the morning you will be provided with donuts, and for lunch the classic Mac & Cheese will make its appearance, followed by dinner which will have somewhere in the range of 100-200 chicken wings from the Cornerstone and plenty of pizza from either Napoli's or Little Ceasers, a decision that will be made based off of the budget. The food once set out will be left out all day and night until completely consumed. Along with the main courses other snacks and sides will be set out.
MTVIII is focused on being BIGGER and BETTER than ever before. One step being taken for this is that we are now allowing public tracking of brackets. The brackets in the past have been set up so only the Commissioner and Vice Commissioner can run them. However, at MTVIII the brackets will be posted on the wall on poster board and players will be free to see their next game and chose when to play.
So far the games for MTVIII are Madden 11, NHL 11, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo: Reach, and the fifth game is still being voted on on the MTVIII official webpage. You have the choice of MLB, Fifa, or Neither.
MTVIII will be happening on December 4th at the Holiday Inn in Warren, PA. There will be a $40 entry fee and anybody interested can fill out the invite provided on the MTVIII webpage and hand it in to anybody on the MTO Council or the MTO Commissioner.
Cody Bupp has just stepped down as Director of Public Relations today the 11th of August of the year 2010. Nathan Billman has been promoted to the title of Director of Public Relations.
The Second season premiere of the MTO Show is now up and running. After a few glitches were fixed. You can now follow the link at the MTO Show's official page. The next episode should air sometime in August and the State of the League Address will be coming up in the next week or so.
The MTO Show is working on updating its electronics and will have delayed production due to the updating of the MTO Show set.
Notice: All MTO Council password protected pages have been abolished due to lack of use. They will not be used again in the near future unless needs change.
Cody Bupp, Brett Ball, and Nathan Billman are currently signed on to be in the first episode of the MTO show's second season. No word on Andrew Morrison yet.
The Commissioner has announced that he hopes to return to working with MTO starting sometime within the coming month. There are several things he needs to do to wrap up his current situation then he believes he will be off on a vacation. After he returns he is expecting to jump back into MTO and run things starting with the first ever State of the League address. He is not sure at the time, but he has said that he is considering stepping down as co-anchor of the MTO Show and putting somebody else in his place. He wants to put MTO into the video spotlight, but wants to keep himself out of the spotlight the whole time. He wants to get everybody else working with him.
With Andrew's Madden Tournament II being postponed indefinitely the MTO Show will not be returning in May. The Commissioner refuses to inform more on the subject as he appears to not know anymore at the time.

Currently MTO is working on a project that would coordinate with a few organizations in Warren, PA and is looking for support, but with this being such a busy time of year we are having trouble gathering things. This is a simple update that is telling everybody that we hope to offer a major event for high school kids around the community. The MTO Show page has been updated and MTO has decided to cancel the 4th episode which was going to be the season finale. Conflicts arouse and taping couldn't occur in the time frame we needed so episode 3 is the season finale. We will be renewing the MTO Show for a 2nd season and hope for better ratings as we will be revamping our style.

The 3rd MTO Show has been released online and can now be accessed from the MTO Show page.
At the release of the 4th episode of the MTO Show, MTO will be taking a recovery break and will not resume back up until April 30th.
I am proud to announce that MTVII has broken SIX records. This is rather high number. Some records were unintentionally broken and some were intentionally broken, but when it comes down to it. Six records were broken. To check out the current standing records check out the page here.
At the conclusion of MTVII things are closing up and everything is closing down. We are hoping to have everything completely wrapped up by March 20th, along with the final episode of the first season of the MTO Show which will conclude with a major announcement.
We are currently preparing for MTVII. Doors open at 9AM tomorrow morning and then at 10AM the Tournament will start.

Season 1 Episode 2 is now ready for release. Everything is set up and at 1PM tomorrow the Second Episode will premiere. It is approximately 43 minutes long and has various aspects that are better than epidsode 1.

The MTO Commissioner is currently unsatisfied with the documentation job of the current MTHL Commissioner's and is putting both Commissioners under extreme fire. He is considering taking the job back and doing it if he can't get others to do it right.....(To Be Continued)

I would like to announce the taping for The MTO Show Season 1 Episode 1 has ended and is currently in the editing phase. You can access the trailer for our MTO Show at the MTO Show web page up top. Everyone here at MTO is very excited to hear the feedback as we feel we have found another something new that will stick. The trailer is just a quick preview that lasts 43 seconds. I encourage everyone to check it out.
All free agency, trades, and cuts have been disabled. The roster movement time has ended. Thank you everyone that participated we appreciate the interest and help everyone has shown that will make this process easier for us.
Free Agency will be closing on January 29, 2010 at 10:00 PM.

The Player cutting deadline is January 29, 2010. If your rosters don't comply with the roster requirements by then the Council and Commissioner will work together to cut and add players that you can't have on your team or you need on your team. The players added will not be the best available they will simply be below average players meant to fill a spot.
The MTO Council is having a meeting today @1 @The Bailey Conference Room. I would like to inform everyone they are welcome to sit in on any Council meeting they would like. There will be a few circumstances where you will have to leave the room when the council is talking about sensitive information, but they can come back in after.
Other resources of MTO are going to be put towards the MTO Hall of Fame. The first inductee ceremony is slated to go on at MTVII.
Now that the rosters are done MTO is going to shift its focus on the MTO show. This is a new idea slated to open on February 6, 2010. The day before Superbowl XLIV. The basis of this show will be to talk about current events in MTO. This will be aired once a week on Saturdays. As the studio begins to set up we will continue to provide more information. It will be hosted by the MTO Commissioner himself along with a guest host as often as possible. Currently it looks like the first guest host will be Christian Bailey the legend of MTO. Nothing is set in slate yet though. Currently the first episode is in major pre-production. We are still working on securing our cast and crew and equipment for the show.

The MTL site is now up and running. The rosters will be posted on there once they are complete. For starters the MTL League Overview is posted on there. Take note that the MTL has developed a site separate from MTO's official website. This website is located at www.mtoleague.yolasite.com
The Commissioner has just made a major executive decision and due to errors that continue to occur, and constant changes and uploading that are slowing down the process we have taken the rosters that were already put up, off. Once all the rosters are finished they will be uploaded at the same time. We are hoping they will all be finished by the end of the week. Sorry for any inconveniences.
The First Roster is out. It is for the Freeport Firebirds. You can check it out on the Rosters page. I will be updating the page throughout the weekend. I'm hoping to have all the rosters out ASAP. Any questions don't be afraid to contact me. I'm hoping to have a Free Agency pool up before January 10th.
The Rosters are currently under development right now, along with the MTO Press Conference. All updates should be up by 10PM tomorrow, if not sooner. We are hoping to get them out by 8PM tonight.

Madden Tournament VII's date has now been announced. It will take place on February 27, 2010 at 10AM. The earliest anyone is aloud to show up will be 8:20AM.

The Rosters Section has now been posted. Where you can access all rosters from every owner.
The members of the MTO Council have met together and finalized the draft order. They have also decided to follow through with the announcement date of Friday December 18, 2009 as the date the order will be announced. Many rumors may circulate between now and that date as everything is getting in order for the big day. Draft day when dreams come true.
The MTO Council will be meeting on Wednesday December 16 in order to organize the draft picks.
The first ever online broadcast has come to a conclusion with many questions including. Will Commissioner Ball get his speaker to work? What will the date be for MTVII as it seems to be now unsure in the eyes of the council? What will the draft order be? However it happens the draft order will be released Friday night @ 8pm.
Our first Double Elimination game has been announced now. Will Wii Sports return? Check it out in the Commissioners Blog.

If you aren't planning on going to the Fantasy Draft, but think you will most likely participate in the Madden League at the Madden Tournament be sure to turn in your Fantasy Draft and R.S.V.P. form so the council know if you're not going that we need to draft for you. Along with your team creation form as soon as possible.
Several major releases are set to open at the Press Conference. Be sure you make it. This is not an MTO event to miss.
The Madden Tournament VIII webpage is now up and running. Only members of the council can access it at this time, but at the press conference we will be releasing the webpage to the public.
Important Announcement: All MTVII Fantasy Draft R.S.V.P. forms are to be turned in no later than December 15. This is important because only three days later the draft order will be announced. Any forms turned in past December 15th will not be accepted.
If you can even believe it Christmas is less than 20 days away, but even more important that means the MTVII Fantasy Draft is just also less than 20 days away. With the holiday season cracking down and the final preparations for our first ever Fantasy Draft I decided it was time to post the countdown since there is now under 20 days left till the Fantasy Draft.

The MTO Council had a meeting in which the injured Cody Bupp could not participate in today and the alternate Nathan Billman had other obligations. Many decisions were made and among them was the decision to add Modern Warfare 2 into the wild card games in place of Game Party 3, and the fifth and final wild card game has now been announced in my blog. There has been a rumor going around about a two different trades going down. One was proven false, while the other has just went through official approval. The first official trade has gone through as Andrew Morrision's 4th and 7th round picks for Nathan Billman's 3rd Round Pick. Congratulations on a MTVII first successful trade!Well, as promised today I have officially released the name of wild card game #3. Check out my blog for the update.
Recent circumstances have brought up NHL as a major game, therefor, I will be allowing players to choose their NHL team earlier than usual. In order of first come first serve at the Fantasy Draft players will select their NHL team. Then from there on out the trading block will be open.
The Trading Block for the Madden League is now OPEN!!!! Ask the commissioner for form to place players or picks on the trading block, or just post what you want to do in the comment section on the trading block page.

The comment section is still down, but following the handing out of the invites we have a busy couple of months ahead of announcements coming up. Starting on November 7 with a new wild card announcement. I would like to let everyone know the official draft order will be announced on December 18, 2009 three days after MTVII Fantasy Draft R.S.V.P. forms are required to be in by. However, that does not prohibit people from blindly trading their picks before the orders are announced. In order for a trade to go through a form must be filled out, you can get this form from the commissioner. Everyone will have a total of 50 picks and after done trading their picks all teams must have somewhere between 45-55 picks.
We are currently having extreme difficulties with all of our comment sections as this comment box widget is currently under construction. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone, and if there is anything needed I will be checking the rumor mill frequently and answering questions there as often and best as I can.
The Invites have now been printed and a select few have received the first copies. The location of these people with their invitations is so secret only one council member is aware of who has them and where they are. For the rest, invites WILL be handed out on Monday. These invites will consist of eight pages. Have a Happy Halloween!!!
Due to conflicting issues with the past rumor mill MTO has been contacted by the MTRO (Madden Tournament Rumor Organization), and have been informed of their move to a new more stable website in which people may register in order to post on the site.
Good news!!! The invites are ready for print and final approval has gone through! We are now prepared to give an official invite release date. November 2, 2009 will be this date. Invites will be handed out by the MTO Council members, and a select few may receive them from the commissioner himself.
Sorry about this misscomunication. There are some final approval items going through that are taking longer than expected, therefore the invites will be at least another week maybe three. Also, in case you have not seen the addition of our new About MTO web page will be completely finished when we release the invites, because that page will contain some new information to be sent on the invites as well.
There is a good possibility of T-shirt and pullover hoody order forms being made. The decision is up in the air right now live on the council board. As each vote comes in I will update.
I will be handing out invites to MTVII and the Fantasy Draft this coming Wednesday October 21st.

In the past, grounds for trading at Madden Tournaments have been a bit shaky, but as of this Madden Party there will be a special web page for trading updates where any information on trades or trade interests will be available on the Trading Block page. Starting on December 27th, 2009 trades, trade proposals and people being put up on the trading block will also be available.
A Fantasy Draft Date has been set for December 27, 2009 at Andrew's house. This date is subject to change.
There will now be a fantasy draft for Madden Tournament VII. Once the roster is filled to 16 the date of the draft will be announced, it is expected around Christmas time and at Andrew's house.
We recently experienced technical difficulties on our site, but as of now we believe they are fixed after switching to the new layout. If you find any more errors on our site please alert us on the Official Comment Page.

For those of you unaware, the 2 new things at the party this time are the Madden League, and the Wild Card Games.
The Madden League will be a full season schedule with ten games per person, finishing in a single elimination playoff round with the top 6 teams.
The Wild Card Games are Games nominated by YOU. Five of them will be accepted, u can nominate as many games as u want, they will all be single elimination tournaments.
"MADDEN TOURNAMENT VI" IS SET TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY JULY 11TH AT 10:00 A.M. AND END ON SUNDAY JULY 12TH AT 10:00 A.M.!!!
